Petco was having a branding issue. They needed a way to spread customer awareness that they weren’t just a place for big dogs. They were a place for small and “boutique” dogs as well. They decided to launch the Petco Chihuahua Races.
We approached them with an idea. We knew we could turn their races into a family-friendly, short series. And we knew we had a great way of distributing the series across the Internet and mobile platforms. What emerged was the very high-stakes yet jovial, Kentucky Derby-like Petco Chihuahua Races.
Petco liked the series so much that they played it at their national convention.
